When You Can Expert Your Social Security Benefit Payments in 2025
The first 2025 Social Security payments will begin arriving next week. According to Kiplinger, when you receive your payment, with a few exceptions, is based on your date of birth.
So, if you were born between the 1st and 10th of the month, you will receive your benefit payment on the second Wednesday of the month beginning on January 8th. Recipients born between the 11th and 20th of the month will receive their benefits on the third Wednesday, beginning January 15th. Beneficiaries born on the 21st or later will receive their Social Security payment on the fourth Wednesday of the month, beginning January 22nd.
