Here Are the Top Ten Cities for Retirement in 2025
Just in time for the new year, U.S. News & World Report has released its “Best Places to Retire” list for 2025. The magazine identified the 150 most retirement-friendly cities by looking at key factors such as happiness, affordability, health care quality, retiree taxes, desirability, and the job market, placing the most weight on happiness.
Fox Business reviewed the list and found three of the top ten cities for 2025 were in Florida. That’s not surprising, as the Sunshine State has always been popular with retirees. The top ten list covers a variety of locales, so there should be something for everyone from beaches to big cities.
If you’re contemplating a move in the new year, you might want to consider: Naples (Florida), Virginia Beach (Virginia), New York City (New York), Sarasota (Florida), Boise (Idaho), Raleigh (North Carolina), Jacksonville (Florida), Huntsville (Alabama), Charlotte (North Carolina), and Fort Wayne (Indiana).
The Seniors Trust is committed to improving the lives of America’s retirees through the passage of The Social Security Expansion Act. It will give retirees an immediate benefits increase of about $200 a month, a fair annual cost-of-living adjustment (COLA), and increased minimum benefits. This bill will also ensure the long-term solvency of the Social Security program.
