An 85-year-old retiree in western Pennsylvania is on a mission to build a community center to bring seniors and children together. According to an article by Trib Live, Steve Jurovic believes both groups can have a positive impact on each other. He envisions the older generation helping teach kids things like how to write a check, finances, arts, music, and chess.

Jurovic has already received non-profit status from the state and hopes to get grants to build the community center. His plan is generating a great deal of support, with many in the community saying it will be great to see senior citizens connecting with the youth in town.

The Seniors Trust is committed to improving the lives of America’s retirees through passage of The Social Security Expansion Act. It will give retirees an immediate benefits increase of about $200 a month, establish a fair annual cost-of-living adjustment (COLA), increase minimum benefits, and ensure the long-term solvency of the Social Security program.
