A 101-year-old woman in the United Kingdom says dancing is the secret to her longevity. Dinkie Flowers told Good News Network that her daily ballet moves on the barre help keep her young and active. The former professional dancer has been dancing her entire life. She started when she was three and at age 98, she appeared on The Greatest Dancer, a televised dance talent show.
Dinkie says you’re never too old to start dancing and encourages other seniors to just keep moving and doing something you love.
The Seniors Trust is committed to improving the lives of America’s retirees through passage of The Social Security Expansion Act. It will give retirees an immediate benefits increase of about $200 a month, a fair annual cost-of-living adjustment (COLA), increased minimum benefits, and this bill will ensure the long-term solvency of the Social Security program.
