Baby Boomers are outpacing Millennials when it comes to home buying and where they are buying might surprise you. An article by Travel & Leisure revealed that Las Vegas, Nevada, is the No. 1 spot for Baby Boomer home buyers. Las Vegas earned the top ranking thanks to its affordability, tax friendliness to retirees (with no state tax or estate/inheritance tax), access to quality health care, and year-round sunshine.

If Sin City is not your style, the article noted that Tampa and Orlando, both in Florida, were also top choices for Baby Boomers.

The Seniors Trust is committed to improving the lives of America’s retirees through passage of The Social Security Expansion Act. It will give retirees an immediate benefits increase of about $200 a month, a fair annual cost-of-living adjustment (COLA), and increased minimum benefits allowing more seniors to live without financial stress. This bill will also ensure the long-term solvency of the Social Security program.
