Americans are growing increasingly concerned about their retirement prospects. Think Advisor reports this has many older Americans considering making a move to a state that is more affordable but also offers a good quality of life and top-notch health care. Those were the determining factors Wallet Hub used when cultivating its list of the best states to retire in 2024.

Here is their Top 10 list in order: Pennsylvania, Montana, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Idaho, Wyoming, Delaware, Virginia, Colorado, and, perhaps not surprisingly, Florida came in at No. 1.

And in case you were wondering, Kentucky was deemed the worst state to retire.

The Seniors Trust is committed to improving the financial well-being of America’s retirees through the passage of The Social Security Expansion Act. It will give retirees an immediate benefits increase of about $200 a month, a fair annual cost-of-living adjustment (COLA), and increased minimum benefits. This bill will also ensure the long-term solvency of the Social Security program.
