Why Today’s Retirees May Need to Embrace Snow Over Sun

The Sunshine State is still quite popular with retirees, but a recent ranking by WalletHub shows it is slipping.
According to an article by HousingWire, Florida came in second place in the ranking of all 50 states based on a range of metrics including taxes, affordable living, medical care and senior services. Wyoming, a.k.a. the Cowboy State, came in first place.
The top ten states for retirement are Wyoming, Florida, South Dakota, Colorado, Minnesota, Alaska, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire and Iowa.
The Seniors Trust is committed to improving the financial well-being of older Americans through the passage of the Social Security Expansion Act. It will give retirees an immediate benefits increase of about $200 a month, a fair annual COLA, increased minimum benefits, and ensure the long-term solvency of the Social Security program.
