You’ll often read that seniors should delay collecting Social Security benefits as long as possible to maximize the amount of money they’ll receive. Some even suggest waiting until age 70!

Whether or not this is a wise decision is up to you and your financial advisor. However, the fact that retiring so late is even being suggested to seniors is proof enough Congress must expand Social Security.

The Social Security Expansion Act guarantees seniors an additional $65 a month in their benefits check. This legislation will ensure seniors receive the financial security they earned and allow them to retire with peace-of-mind.
