Why Multigenerational Travel is Good for Your Health

There’s new evidence that multigenerational travel is a powerful force for healthy aging, family connection, and economic growth. PR Newswire published the results of a report by the Global Coalition on Aging (GCOA) and the nonprofit Transamerica Institute about Travel for Healthy Longevity.
Key findings from the report revealed some of the health benefits of travel. For example, it showed that tourism experiences have been associated with a 59% lower risk of dementia. Travel was also linked to increased social connectedness.
But seniors aren’t the only ones who benefit from travel. Check out this post by The Seniors Trust Network to discover why you might want to plan a multigenerational trip for your family.
