Forget Florida, a new study found retirees might want to consider moving overseas for the best quality of life.

As Moneywise reports, this year’s Global Retirement Index (GRI) by investment bank Natixis looked at 44 countries taking into consideration important factors such as health, finances during retirement, the quality of life, and general well-being as retirees aged. The United States came in at 18th place, largely because of income inequality, government indebtedness, old-age dependency, and tax pressures.

n case you’re wondering, the top five countries, in order, are Norway, Switzerland, Iceland, Ireland, and Australia.

The Seniors Trust wants you to enjoy a quality retirement without stressing about money. That’s why we want to see Congress enact The Social Security Expansion Act. It will give retirees an immediate $200 per month (average) benefits increase, create a fair annual cost-of-living adjustment (COLA), and increase minimum benefits.
