Election 2020 delivered a big win for the Social Security Expansion Act. Two of the bill’s co-sponsors have reclaimed their Senate seats.

New Jersey voters cast ballots to send Senator Cory Booker back to Washington DC to serve a second term in office. Meanwhile, Senator Jeff Merkley will begin his third term in January as the senior senator from Oregon.

The Seniors Trust will continue working with existing and new legislators to ensure passage of this important measure.
