One More Way Social Security is Making it Easier to Conduct Business
The Social Security Administration has made it a priority to improve customer service. One of the ways it’s doing this is by allowing customers to conduct more business electronically. An article by Big Rapids News states that people can now submit documents electronically using the Upload Documents service.
This new online service can be used to request and submit 50 forms and almost 80 types of evidence. It eliminates the need for customers to mail, fax, or deliver information to a local Social Security office.
The Seniors Trust is committed to improving the lives of America’s retirees through the passage of The Social Security Expansion Act. It will give retirees an immediate benefits increase of about $200 a month, a fair annual cost-of-living adjustment (COLA), and increased minimum benefits. This bill will also ensure the long-term solvency of the Social Security program.
