What Social Security is Doing to Improve Customer Service and Satisfaction

The Social Security Administration (SSA) has announced two changes designed to help improve customer service and satisfaction. According to an article by AL.com, these updates involve realignment of Social Security’s processing centers and expansion of its call center services.
“These changes reflect ongoing efforts to optimize operations, strengthen communication, and deliver timely, policy-compliant outcomes,” the SSA said in a statement. “This realignment merges similar workload responsibilities, streamlines decision-making, and enhances customer service across the agency.”
The Seniors Trust is committed to improving the well-being of older Americans. We are doing that financially by encouraging lawmakers to enact the Social Security Expansion Act. This landmark piece of legislation will give retirees an immediate increase of about $200 a month in benefits, a fair annual cost-of-living adjustment (COLA), increased minimum benefits, and ensure the long-term solvency of the Social Security program.
