Five of the Top Ten Cities for Retirees are All in This State
There’s a reason Florida is stereotyped as the state where everyone goes to retire. As Fox Business reports, five of the top ten cities on WalletHub’s list of the Best & Worst Places to Retire are in the Sunshine State. Examining dozens of metrics related to affordability, activities, quality of life, and health care, WalletHub ranked Orlando in the top spot, with Miami, Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, and St. Petersburg all making the top ten list.
Other notable cities were Minneapolis, Minnesota, Scottsdale, Arizona, Cincinnati, Ohio, Casper, Wyoming, and Atlanta, Georgia.
The Seniors Trust is committed to improving the financial well-being of America’s retirees through the passage of The Social Security Expansion Act. It will give retirees an immediate benefits increase of about $200 a month, a fair annual cost-of-living adjustment (COLA), increased minimum benefits, and will ensure the long-term solvency of the Social Security program.
