Flying can be overwhelming, especially for seniors struggling to schlep suitcases and navigate crowded terminals. Fortunately, one airline is doing something about all that. American Airlines has introduced a new program aimed at easing some of the stress travelers face.

Five Star Essentials provides additional peace of mind when navigating the airport. Currently available only at the airlines’ three hub airports – Charlotte, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Miami – this premium service provides passengers with a personal escort who greets you at Priority Check-in to help you get seats and boarding passes, then escorts you through security all the way to your gate keeping tabs on all your bags along the way. For connecting flights, they will meet you as you exit the plane and escort you to your next gate. While there is a fee for Five Star Essentials service, you can also cash in frequent flyer miles.
