DailyCaring.com has posted an awesome list of “7 Useful Tips and Tricks for Seniors that Make Everyday Tasks Easier.” Here are a few of our favorite tips from the list:

To reach items toward the back of the top shelf of the refrigerator, try having a lazy susan installed. You can rotate it to get those hard-to-reach items.

If your eyesight isn’t great, try putting “raised dot stickers” on the buttons you use most often on your television remote control or telephone. This will help you find those buttons easier by touch.

To reduce the chance of injury, have the sharp edges of furniture rounded or try attaching “corner guards” to your furniture.

Put rubber bands around cups to help get a better grip on them and prevent accidents. This will add some much needed texture to the smooth, flat surface of most drinking vessels.
