Americans are facing a new epidemic — sleep deprivation. A Good Morning America feature pointed out that, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more than one in three adults are considered sleep deprived because they do not get the recommended minimum of seven hours of sleep per night. This has many travelers looking for better ways to relax and unwind while on vacation. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports the sleep tourism industry is expected to increase by almost $410 billion by 2028.
