YahooFinance and PRNewsWire report that 38% of Americans “say their retirement plans have been impacted” because of the pandemic. 19% of those polled say “they will have to retire later than planned.”

Crucially, 61% of respondents are now “even more worried than before about Social Security running out of funding.”

The need for the passage of the Social Security Expansion Act cannot be understated. This legislation guarantees a $65 monthly raise, a fair COLA, and enhanced Social Security benefits.

Legally guaranteed benefits, as well as a benefits boost, will help put the minds of Americans at ease in the aftermath of the pandemic.

Please read our mission statement and if you agree seniors deserve expanded benefits, consider signing our petition. We need to show Congress our legislation has support from Americans across the country.
