Why Reclining Your Airplane Seat is Causing Such Controversy

Flying nowadays may seem more like a trip to the dentist. Not because it’s painful (although it can be), but because when the passenger in front of you reclines their seat their face may very well be in your lap. At least it seems that way sometimes. CBS News discovered that many travel experts, and even flight attendants, would like passengers to keep their seats in the upright position throughout the entire flight.
