Here’s more proof that age is just a number. A cane-wielding great-grandmother in Oakland, California, stopped a purse snatcher from robbing an elderly neighbor!

According to a report by ABC7, 76-year-old Miss Faye jumped into action after seeing a man get out of a car and attack her neighbor. She ran out of her house to help, hitting the man’s car several times with her cane. This caused the would-be robber to drop the purse and drive away. Both women were a little bruised and sore, but otherwise okay. Miss Faye encourages everyone to look out for one another and to always be aware of your surroundings.
