Survey Results Reveal What Americans Think About Social Security
For years, The Seniors Trust has made it our mission to do better by seniors by passing legislation to expand Social Security benefits, institute a new formula to calculate annual cost-of-living adjustments (COLA), and shore up the long-term solvency of our Social Security program. Now, armed with the results of surveys we have conducted, we are prepared to let legislators hear the voice of the American people calling for the passage the Social Security Expansion Act louder than ever.
The Seniors Trust invites individuals and members of Congress to view our Survey Results Archive, where we post poll results on topics such as support for the Social Security Expansion Act as well as whether Americans think monthly Social Security benefits should be increased.
It should come as no surprise that the results of our initial surveys are overwhelmingly in favor of expanding benefits. Hopefully, lawmakers will see this as proof that America wants and needs the Social Security Expansion Act to finally become law.
