Train Travel is Picking Up Steam

While the days of steam-powered trains traversing the country are long gone, train travel is seeing a resurgence with many vacationers eagerly climbing aboard.
According to KUTA 2 in Portland, Oregon, nearly a million passengers rode the rails over the past two years. That number will surely increase when Amtrak introduces its new Airo class fleet, set to take over the Cascades route through the Pacific Northwest later this year.
