Have You Booked Your Vaxication?

After pretty much staying home for the past year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Americans are anxious to travel again. One survey found that about half of all Americans plan to take a trip in the next few months. And that number will likely only grow as more people get vaccinated. According to NBC News, these so-called “vaxications” are helping kick-start the idle travel industry.

Road trips are expected to be popular again this summer. At the same time, air travel is picking up. The TSA recently reported some of its busiest days since before the pandemic started, screening more than one million passengers each day. And cruising may return this summer.

No matter what your travel plans may entail, be sure to take the necessary precautions to keep safe. You will want to continue to practice COVID-19 protocols including wearing a mask, social distancing, and frequent handwashing. And make sure you have the required travel documents. You may need proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test.
